Download Discord Emoji Straight From a Message
Discord has no save button for custom emojis: you can use one in a server you are in, but not keep the picture. This Discord emoji downloader takes whatever text you have and finds every custom emoji in it. Paste a whole message, a list of emoji codes like <:wave:1234…>, emoji links from cdn.discordapp.com or plain emoji IDs, even all mixed together, and each emoji appears in a list with its preview, its name and whether it is animated. The same emoji used five times shows up once, and user mentions, channel links and other IDs in the message are left out. Nothing to log in to and no Discord connection on your side.
Save Discord Emoji as PNG, WebP or GIF
Every row has its own download button, and the file is named after the emoji itself, like wave.png. Still emojis save as PNG, or as WebP if you pick it under Format; both keep the transparent background, because the WebP is asked for losslessly. Animated emojis always save as GIF with every frame. The picture comes straight from Discord's own image servers at the largest size Discord keeps, which for custom emojis is 128 pixels or less, and it is never upscaled. If you want to make an emoji of your own instead, the Discord Emoji Maker sizes a picture for upload.
Every Emoji at Once as a ZIP
Download all saves the whole list as one ZIP file, in the order the emojis appear in your text and with their real names. Two different emojis with the same name, say two servers that both have a "pepe", become pepe.png and pepe-2.png, so neither overwrites the other when you unpack the ZIP. An emoji that has been deleted shows as Not found and is simply left out.
A Discord Sticker Downloader Too
Stickers work the same way: paste a sticker link or its ID. Server stickers download in their own format, PNG, an animated PNG that keeps its motion, or GIF. Discord's own sticker packs are mostly Lottie stickers, which Discord stores as animation data rather than as a picture, and the list says so plainly instead of handing you a broken file. For profile pictures and banners, the Discord PFP Viewer and the Discord Banner Viewer work from a user ID.
Frequently Asked Questions About Downloading Discord Emojis
How do I download a Discord emoji?
Get its code first: in any Discord chat box, type a backslash before the emoji, like \, and send it. Discord shows the code with the emoji's ID. Paste that code, a copied message or the emoji's image link here and press the download button next to it.
Can I download animated Discord emojis?
Yes. An animated emoji is marked as animated in the list and always downloads as a GIF that keeps every frame. Still emojis download as PNG or WebP.
Why are downloaded emojis so small?
Discord keeps custom emojis small, 128 pixels a side or less, because they show at chat size. The download is the largest copy Discord has, and an upscaled copy would only be blurrier.
Can I save emojis from a server I am not in?
Yes, if you have the emoji's code, link or ID, for example from a message someone shared. Emoji pictures are public files on Discord's image servers, so you do not need to join the server or log in.
Is downloading Discord emojis anonymous?
Yes. The tool only fetches the public emoji pictures from Discord's image servers. Nobody is notified, and you never connect your Discord account.
